and would like to work in law enforcement. |

Adell is completing her studies at St. Edward’s University
in Austin, Texas. She will receive a degree in Communications
and a minor in International Relations. She is inspired by
her seven year old daughter, and plans to establish an organization
to help teen mothers continue in higher education. |

Nicole graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio
with a graduate degree in English. She has written for numerous
publications, including The San Antonio Business Journal and
Broker/Agent Magazine. She interned at CNN in Washington,
D.C., and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the United
Way. |
Ms. Drozd is placed in the office of State Representative Trey
Martinez Fischer. |

Oriana graduated Valedictorian of her high school class, and
has taken leadership roles ever since. She is about to graduate
from Rice University with a degree English, and commits her
free time to children through organizations like Babe Ruth
Softball, Best Buddies, and the National Women’s Basketball
League. |

For the past four years, Mia has been studying Spanish Literature
and Portuguese at the University of Texas at Austin. She plans
to return to school for her PhD and pursue Hispanic studies
and educational advocacy work. |

Honduras, Ireland, France and Italy, and earned a Bachelor
and two Masters degrees from St. Mary’s University.
He plans to return to school to earn his JD, and continue
his study of the Post-Modern world. |

Most recently, Zulema graduated from Southern Methodist University
in Dallas, Texas. She was a double major in Finance and International
Studies, and minored in French. She received SMU’s Dorothy
Amann Award for outstanding community service and plans to
be an attorney. |

Lizette brings years of political experience to this year’s
Moreno/Rangel class. She received a Bachelor of Science in Political

City Council Member Raul Alvarez, and Texas State Representative
Richard Raymond. |

Corrina comes to the Moreno/Rangel Program after receiving a
Rotary Ambassadorial scholarship to attend school in Australia,
where she finished her Master’s degree at Bond University.
Her background includes three years as a public high school
educator. |
